    1. First, please try to download and install DISE manually (one of the links here). If it is stuck in the update mode, then you have a program on your computer called the Command Prompt. You can search for "cmd" on the start menu. Alternatively, you can look it up on Google (something like "windows how to start command prompt"). :)

    1. Could you please explain the exact steps you took when you went on to saving your modded file within DISE? Thank you! Feel free to e-mail me in private.

  8. is there a way to increase damage?

    1. Yes, but not directly, per weapon. Of course, things like the weapon mods, required level, etc, will increase dealt damage, but it may not be exactly what you want. The alternative is to use skills to increase overall dealt damage, or use the skill tweak that boosts dealt damage. :)

  9. Could you do a fix for left hand of glova?

    The Riptide One is shit!

Could you replace the new one with the old from DI?

Maybe by porting the file of old into Riptide.

I would love to see this in PC and I would donate you a "little" money for it.

    1. Hello,

Have you tried to add "Push_Force" to your inventory? You can either "add custom item" and enter that name, or right-click the list of items and show unsafe items.

    2. The problem is that I have to hit the enemies (not just stroke hand out) and they fly just a little away not that crazy like Dead Island.
Can I edit blue print to add more push force? If yes how?

    3. Probably the file Collectibles.scr (inside one of the DataX.pak files), you can change mod blueprints' base parameters.

  10. Is there a way you can make an update so you don't need game genie to make your saves playable?

    1. Sorry, Game Genie was the best I could do for now. I haven't given up yet, though. :)

    2. Could you release a .xml file from Dead Island where all Developers are in inventory?

I wonder what happens if you import them into the inventory of riptide save...

    3. Hey! Sorry for the delay. They exist in Riptide, and are available within DISE. In the list of available items (Inventory tab), just search for "dev", and you should find them. They do not have proper names, though, just "Craftplan_Dev1" and similar.

    4. I think I misunderstood. Sadly, I don't have any saves with "genuine" developer mods. I do not think that's possible either, since they would simply be categorized as collectibles (and not truly be in the inventory).

    1. Sorry, save what to USB? Xbox saves? You can do it with a 3rd party program like Horizon or Modio in that case. :)

  12. Steffen,
is it true that cumulative mods like 'firearms' stop giving bonuses after 'reset skills'?
Could you please check the behavior? It looks broken to me.
    I use v0.1.6.5.

    Thank you.

    1. Hello!

Unfortunately, yes. Weapon proficiencies' bonus effects are actually individual skills. I haven't come around to map all of these skills, so it's still on my to-do list.

However, instead of using "Reset all" below "All skills/characters", you can use "Reset" below "This character" instead. While "Reset all" clears everything, "Reset" resets only the displayed skill trees.

The WP level, XP and effects are not tied together in a logical manner internally in the save files. Since DISE didn't support Riptide from the beginning, and because of the way Riptide works, this is an unfortunate side-effect.
