Finally, this update brings FULL support for modding PlayStation 3 saves! Game Genie is NOT required!
DISE is the first free program to fully support modding Dead Island saves for PS3, and I'm proud to be the first to publicly crack and document the game's save data protection. My research can be used for other games as well, so feel free to check it out! :)
If you saw my previous post, you could see that a big problem blocked this release. Since my support request didn't get any replies, I replaced that exact feature with something else, and solved it. It's technical, so I shouldn't go much into detail.
DISE has been through a relatively long phase where support for Riptide and PS3 has been in development and under testing. I think this will be one of the last experimental updates for now, so that I can start pushing automatic updates again under the main/stable release channel.

DeleteCondition: A melee weapon's condition. Lower condition means it's more broken. 0 = completely broken. :)
Attributes: Partly unknown, but it changes the stats of weapons (damage, handling, etc). It's pretty random, and only changes the stats slightly.
hey steffen you did great with your dise program!you should try make a savegame where it goes in your ps3 sucks up all the data (saves) so then it sends to our pc then we can find di 1 so we can mod it? (do you think that is possible?) anyway you should try do more games becuase you now know alot about ps3, game saves etc, it would be great to see you dominating youtube with modded game saves, and editors, and programs, that would be awesome!! great release by the way it was awesome no bugs or overloads or anything, thank you for the reply you sent me before when i asked "would we be able to mod di riptide (PS3) with the next release" it was very helpfull thank you for everything you have done for us ps3 users, thank you for not giving up, i respect that!

Nice Save editor, i was asking a favour, as my trophy for collectibles has glitched a bit, would it be possible for one of the premium guys to drop some of the stuff that people on premium can only get, if they could, it would be much appreciated, and to become premium, you need to donate, right? I'm tempted, those premium tweaks are really dragging me in! But no the less, nice editor, i hope you reply, and have a nice day :)

ReplyDeleteIs it a saved game or profile? Unfortunately, there are issues with Xbox and PS3 profiles, so they are not supported yet. Have you tried the very latest version (0.1.7.3)?
